Meet Kandi, Proprietor

I enjoy giving old things new life, whether it's the 1855 hotel building, old furniture, or the process of up-cycling and repurposing items. I love the history of this building, as well as other stuff in general... simply put, I love the energy of life! It's fun for me to envision how this hotel was utilized and situated almost 170 years ago; people arriving to a hotel during their journey of moving westward, paying 5 cents to use the claw foot tub, and how the space felt without electricity or plumbing. I really love properties from the 1800's and early 1900's. 

I also love and support sustainable practices. With a deep respect for Mother Nature/Mother Earth, I want nothing more than to infuse nature, holistic health, and sustainability in my life and business. I hope to share my passion for the world, nature and our environment with others, but especially through passing on knowledge and traditions to my 3 children.
